ASPA launches in Melbourne

Published Tue 23 Apr 2019

The Australian Sports Professionals Association (ASPA) has officially launched today in Melbourne, with over 20 of Melbourne's state and national bodies. The event marks the third in a national launch calendar that will see inaugural events in most states and territories of Australia.

ASPA is an industry body for individuals who work in sport, ranging from administrators of small state/territory sports to CEOs and Board members of large national bodies, and provides opportunities to connect, communicate and collaborate with other professionals in the realm of sports management.

Hosted at Australian Sailing Victoria at the State Sailing Centre at Albert Park, delegates shared their thoughts on the struggles in sport facing Melbourne.

The next step on the launch tour is Sydney next week.
